Preparation guide:

1. Take Care of Your Body
• Get plenty of sleep
being well-rested helps with pain tolerance.
• Eat a full meal before your appointment. Low blood sugar can make you feel dizzy or lightheaded, if you can’t finish it all bring a snack.
• Stay hydrated drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your tattoo& bring a sugary drink.
2. Avoid Alcohol & Blood Thinners
• No alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session; it thins the blood and can cause excessive bleeding.
• Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners unless prescribed by a doctor.


3. Wear Comfortable Clothing
• Choose loose-fitting clothes that allow easy access to the area being tattooed.
• Dark colors are best in case of ink stains.
4. Stay Clean & Fresh
• Shower and exfoliate the tattoo area gently before your appointment.
• moisturise the area 1-2 weeks before your appointment.
• Avoid applying lotions, oils, or perfumes the day off.


5. Plan for Pain Management
• If you’re nervous about pain, talk to your artist about numbing creams.
• Bring headphones and music, a stress ball, or something to distract yourself if needed!
