Preparation guide:

1. Take Care of Your Body

Get plenty of sleep

Eat a full meal before your appointment. Low blood sugar can make you feel dizzy or lightheaded, if you can’t finish it all bring a snack.

Stay hydrated drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your tattoo& bring a sugary drink.
2. Avoid Alcohol & Blood Thinners

No alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session; it thins the blood and can cause excessive bleeding.

Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners unless prescribed by a doctor.
3. Wear Comfortable Clothing

Choose loose-fitting clothes that allow easy access to the area being tattooed.

Dark colors are best in case of ink stains.
4. Stay Clean & Fresh

Shower and exfoliate the tattoo area gently before your appointment.

moisturise the area 1-2 weeks before your appointment.

Avoid applying lotions, oils, or perfumes the day off.
5. Plan for Pain Management

If you’re nervous about pain, talk to your artist about numbing creams.

Bring headphones and music, a stress ball, or something to distract yourself if needed!
